"Long story. I'll try to keep it short. I get a lot of ingrown hairs so I decided to get laser hair removal. The first session was great and I had great results. The second session was today. Still waiting on those results. That's not why I'm giving a review.
To be blunt, I'm a sissy with pain. Well, this wasn't any different. I complained the entire time, moved uncontrollably, and sweated more than normal.
Natalie, the technician that did the laser, is amazing! She is kind, sweet, patient, understanding, and most of all, non judgmental! These 5 stars are for her! Yes, I'm a sissy. But she's always smiling and makes the whole process not that bad. So, Natalie, thank you for making a painful and unpleasant experience a good memorable one!"
"I had an amazing experience getting my first Morpheus 8 on my abdomen with Brittnee! She discussed what to expect in detail, took her time, and made sure I was comfortable. The treatment was a little spicy at times, but overall very tolerable. I will definitely be seeing her again for my next two treatments to tighten and slim my abdomen!"

"Removing skin tags is something I've held back on doing for a long time, but really glad that I found Clear Lake Dermatology through one of my daughters. She had a pleasant experience as well as myself. With most of the staff being young, they were all very friendly and professional. The doctor was my favorite as she asked concerning questions about my health, and explained all details of my procedure clearly and concisely, with plenty of empathy and concern for discomfort. The procedure was simple and with minor stinging at the very most. This dermatology office does a lot more than removing skin tags, such as Cool Sculpting, and Botox just to name a couple. I am highly recommending Clear Lake Dermatology, and will return with any other skin issues, if any, in the future. Two thumbs up for the doctors and their team!"

"I have been going to this practice for a 1 year now. My first treatment was Coolsculpting in my belly area. I was having fat that even with a lot of exercise I couldnāt get rid off. My first provider was great, the results were fantastic. My next treatment was a Coolsculpting in my inner leg. I also did Morpheus 8 body and currently I am having under my eye. Natali is an excellent provider, she always explains me the treatment in detail and has a lot of patience. The front desk is amazing, always with a smile and always willing to find you an appointment that fits your availability. Ā I love this practice and I really recommend it."

"I recently visited Clearlake Dermatology for help with my skin and had a wonderful experience. The office is beautiful and welcoming. Years of sun tanning really destroyed my skin so the esthetician Natalie suggested I do IPL for redness and another laser called Clear and Brilliant for the brown spots. Itās been 2 weeks and wow! "I've been to both the League City and Clear Lake locations and I love them! I use them for mole inspections/removals and aesthetic procedures. Stephanie has removed many questionable moles off me (melanoma) and performed my dysport. Natalie has performed my Morpheus8 treatments. One great thing about the aesthetic side of the office is that they offer Pro-Nox, not every place has it. It's very helpful during certain procedures. All the staff on both the medical and aesthetic sides have been wonderful. If you've been to an office that is run badly, you really appreciate great support staff. I've been using Clear Lake Dermatology since the end of 2020, been going every 3 months. I hope this gives some insight as to how often I've used them and the relevance of my review."

"I have been going to Clearlake Dermatology for a while now for my acne. I just recently went in for a visit at the Webster location which is where Iāve always went. They recently moved to new location but still in Webster. The office is beautiful and clean, the staff was amazing super sweet and I felt very safe with there COVID-19 protocols in there office. The doctor I seen was new for me since the doctor I normally go to was not working that day but my acne was an emergency visit. She was super helpful and educated listen to everything I was concerned about as well as the medical assistant that was with her. They truly have done wonders to my skin and always get my skin back on track. Thank you all for a great experience and helping my skin and removing my mole due to me being paranoid with them, I would recommend anyone dealing with acne to visit this place. "The staff is very professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. I am a repeat customer (last visit in Feb), yet I was greeted warmly and quickly recognized by the front desk staff and by the assistant who cared for me during my last visit. Their warm and friendly greeting, as soon as I walked in, made me feel very relaxed and at-ease. Dr. Jo and his staff are very knowledgeable on all the services and products they provide. Because of their strong knowledge base, they are amazing patient educators and explain thoroughly the recommended treatment plan, offer other similar options available, and answered all my questions promptly and patiently. Iād like to especially thank Lidia Zuniga (Retail Educator/PCC) for sharing her high level of expertise, wisdom, and skin care products recommendations for MY (sensitive, not easy to deal with) skin. She was able to multitask and complete her job duties (and relieving/taking over responsibilities for other staff members that were leaving for the day) effortlessly and with a very pleasant attitude. She gave me, what I would consider, the best and most thorough skin consultation Iāve ever had. Despite her busy workload, she gave me her full attention and listened to all my concerns. She even personally wrote me a list instructing the correct order in which to apply my skin care products... for both morning and night!! That was extremely kind of her and super helpful for me to use them correctly. I felt very secure and confident walking out of there with all the information, instructions, samples, and recommendations she gave me. She said she understood my sensitive skin dilemma, so she did not want me to buy full bottles and then find out I canāt use them. (This has happened to me several times in the past) I will be ordering full-size products once I test out the samples and pick the ones I like. Lidia was so nice and friendly during our entire interaction. She gave me her card (with her email address) and asked me to let her know if I have any problems or concerns, any time. WOW!!! Now THATāS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Since I live on the other side of town from the clinic, she reassured me that I wouldnāt have to worry about driving 55 minutes to pick up the products Iād choose to purchase (after using the samples). "I've had liposuction many years ago with a breast reduction but decided this time to try Coolsculpting because of not being invasive and no downtime, FDA accepted and I could even drive myself. I'm also an RN. If you're having some anxiety....I had both love handles down first. The only thing that got me was when she put the first one on, I was expecting a slow squeezing and it clamped down fast and hard lol so I kind of winced. But as stated elsewhere, within a couple of minutes it was fine. The other side wasn't as bad since I knew what to expect. Take a deep breath and let it out slowly during this process may help. Strangely the larger abdomen wasn't bad at all. Afterwards there was some redness, of course cold, and some bruising in the love handle areas. The esthetician massages all these areas after the treatment to break up the 'frozen' areas back down, although there will probably be some swelling and slight tenderness to the skin post procedure for a while. You may want to take something over the counter for pain before hand. Afterwards, I took some aleve and went and had a nice dinner before driving home. I knew from reviews to expect some discomfort around 5-7 days post treatment. I did have something sort of like menstrual or gas cramps for a few days around that time. The technician did say to call in if I needed the doctor to call in something stronger but I did not, I just took aleve. I'm now a month post treatment and going to get my second set of treatments next week. I also started wearing a firm compression garment as I did after my liposuction as I think it will help with the shaping. Women are even wearing them post delivery of babies these days for the same reason. I'll also mention toward the end of my love handle treatments I felt a strange horizontal 'tugging' sensation through my abdomen and around the naval but it was just a novelty not uncomfortable. The last eight minutes of the hour treatment the machine massages the area, again not uncomfortable at all. I'm not going to go into results just yet. I will get a set of photos and measurements next week and then probably 8 weeks post the next treatments although she said allow 12 weeks for full results. The cost is for two treatments of each area a month apart. The love handles together count as one and the large abdominal counts as one at this practice. Some practices count small and large. Always ask for promotional rates or rates for more than one area and rates for more than one treatment and mention you saw their info on RealSelf if that is true for a free office consultation and other specials. "Treating my lower stomach with Cool Sculpting gave me the motivation I needed to eat healthier and exercise more. I can already see some results and it has only been a week. I treated my lower stomach with 3 large applicators. It took about 3 Ā½ hours to complete but I brought a book to read and homework to do during the treatment. The staff made sure I felt comfortable by adjusting the seat and placing pillows where needed. There is also cable television in the room. When placing the machine on my belly, I felt a little discomfort from the pulling of my fat into the machine; this discomfort lasted only about 5 minutes. I was explained before hand that when the treatment is done I might experience numbness, soreness and bruising that could last up to 2 weeks. I have experienced all three. It has been a week since, and I am still slightly numb, sore and have light bruising but it has not at all inhibited my daily routine. I was able to go on with my daily activites like normal. I feel my experience at Clear Lake Dermatology was superior and would recommend this office for your Cool Sculpting treatment. I canāt wait to see my after photos!"
